Beyond the nostalgia trip, we’re getting six new boss monsters covering different summoning mechanics. Three more are still under wraps, but I’d bet money they’ll cover Ritual, Synchro, and maybe Pendulum. Twenty cards get new or variant artwork, including some genuinely charming chibi variants alongside competitive updates like I:P Masquerena and S:P Little Knight. It’s a nice mix of cute and competitive. And here’s something that’s been bugging me for years - 40 cards are finally getting their first foil treatment. Toon Cyber Dragon and Sixth Sense have been waiting ages for this moment. Better late than never, right?
