The Final Fantasy Trading Card Game is Square Enix's own card game, running since 2016 across a long line of numbered Opus expansions. It is a genuinely different product from the Magic crossover set, using its own elemental system, its own artwork commissions and its own tournament scene. Every Opus booster box is a 36 pack display, with 12 cards in each pack and one premium foil guaranteed per pack. That works out at 432 cards per display, which is enough to build several playable decks straight out of one box, and it is why sealed displays remain popular with groups who want to draft rather than buy singles.
What makes this line interesting is that Square Enix does not reprint Opus sets. Once a set sells through at distribution it is gone, so the older expansions quietly disappear from UK shelves. We focus on the out of print sets that are getting hard to find here rather than only stocking whatever is current.
