Opus XVI, Emissaries Of Light, arrived in March 2022 and has become one of the harder Final Fantasy TCG expansions to find sealed in the UK. Light element cards carry the set, and the full art Legend cards are the ones collectors chase out of a display.
A sealed Emissaries Of Light display holds 36 packs of 12 cards with a premium foil in each pack, so 432 cards in total. It drafts well and it is a sensible set to open as a group, though plenty of buyers now hold these sealed instead, since the set has been out of print for years and UK retail stock has largely dried up.
Of the middle era Opus expansions this is consistently the strongest performer on the UK secondary market, usually sitting around the hundred pound mark for a sealed English display. That makes it one of the few sets where sealed boxes command a clear premium over what the singles inside are worth.
