Monster Card Corner — Refund & Returns Policy

This policy applies to customers worldwide, including the United Kingdom, European Union, Australia, Canada, the United States, New Zealand, and the United Arab Emirates. Where applicable consumer protection laws provide you with greater rights than those set out in this policy, those statutory rights will always take precedence.

1. Returns Window

You have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Customers in the UK and EU also have a statutory right to cancel eligible purchases within 14 days of receiving their order without giving a reason, subject to applicable consumer legislation and any statutory exceptions.

2. Condition of Returned Items

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • In the same condition as when you received it.

  • In its original packaging.

  • Unopened and factory sealed where applicable.

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase.

We cannot accept returns of opened or tampered sealed products unless they are faulty, damaged, or supplied incorrectly.

3. How to Start a Return

To request a return, please contact us at contact@monstercardcorner.co.uk before sending your item back.

If your return is approved, we will provide instructions for returning your item. Where applicable, we may also provide a return shipping label.

Items returned without prior authorisation may be refused.

4. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon arrival.

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible at contact@monstercardcorner.co.uk with photographs where possible.

Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged in transit, or incorrectly supplied, we will resolve the issue at no additional cost to you. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, this may include:

  • A replacement

  • A repair (where appropriate)

  • A full refund

  • Return postage paid by Monster Card Corner

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.

5. Return Postage Costs

Unless an item is faulty, damaged, or supplied incorrectly, customers are responsible for the cost of returning unwanted items.

Where we have made an error or the item is faulty, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.

6. Order Cancellations

If you wish to cancel or amend your order before dispatch, please contact us as soon as possible at contact@monstercardcorner.co.uk.

UK and EU Customers

Where you are exercising your statutory cancellation rights under applicable consumer legislation, you are entitled to a full refund in accordance with those legal rights. We will not deduct payment processing or transaction fees from refunds where the law requires a full refund.

Customers Outside the UK and EU

We will do our best to accommodate cancellation requests before dispatch. However, once an order has entered processing, cancellation cannot be guaranteed.

Where we agree to cancel an order as a gesture of goodwill, or where no statutory right to a full refund applies, we reserve the right to deduct any non-refundable payment processing or transaction fees that have been charged to Monster Card Corner and cannot be recovered from our payment provider.

Any such deduction will:

  • Never exceed the actual unrecoverable cost incurred by us.

  • Reflect only payment processing fees that are retained by the payment provider.

  • Be clearly shown as part of your refund calculation where applicable.

Orders that have already been dispatched cannot be cancelled and must instead be returned in accordance with this policy where eligible.

7. Refunds

Once your returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to complete the refund.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us at contact@monstercardcorner.co.uk.

Where a refund is issued outside any statutory entitlement to a full refund, Monster Card Corner may deduct any genuine, unrecoverable payment processing fees retained by the payment provider where permitted by applicable law.

8. Exchanges

The quickest way to obtain a different item is to:

  1. Return the original item (where eligible); and

  2. Place a new order.

9. Non-Returnable Items

Unless faulty or otherwise required by law, we cannot accept returns for:

  • Opened trading card packs

  • Opened booster boxes

  • Opened or tampered sealed trading card products

  • Custom-made or personalised items

  • Products that are no longer in their original saleable condition due to customer handling

If you are unsure whether your item is eligible for return, please contact us before returning it.

10. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

In particular:

  • United Kingdom: Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

  • European Union: Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and applicable national legislation.

  • Australia: Australian Consumer Law.

  • Canada: Applicable provincial consumer protection legislation.

  • United States and other countries: Applicable local consumer protection laws.

Where local legislation provides greater consumer rights than this policy, those rights will prevail.
