The Pokemon Company International has officially revealed the next expansion for the Pokemon Trading Card Game - Mega Evolution - Chaos Rising. This fourth English Mega Evolution set brings powerful new Mega Evolution Pokemon ex to the battlefield, with Mega Greninja ex leading the charge against the chaos-bringing Mega Floette ex.
What's the Story?
Lumiose City is under threat as night falls. Mega Floette ex is wreaking havoc across the iconic Kalos region city, and it's up to Trainers to assemble a team powerful enough to face this dangerous threat. Mega Greninja ex, Mega Pyroar ex, and Mega Dragalge ex stand ready to ward off the chaos.
Set Details
Mega Evolution - Chaos Rising contains 122 cards, making it one of the smaller English sets since 2010. The set is based almost entirely on Japan's Ninja Spinner set, which releases on March 13th in Japan.

Prerelease Events
Want to play with Chaos Rising cards before anyone else? Prerelease tournaments run from May 9th through May 17th, 2026 at participating local game stores as part of the Play! Pokemon programme. These events are a fantastic way to experience the new cards early while competing for prizes.

Digital players can access Mega Evolution - Chaos Rising starting May 21st, 2026 - one day before the physical release. TCG Live is available on iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows. Players logging in during the launch period can expect in-game bonuses as well.
