Pokémon TCG First Partner Illustration Collection Series 2 Announced

The Pokémon Company International has confirmed the First Partner Illustration Collection Series 2 is in development, expanding the premium illustration card collection line that launched in 2023.

Building on Series 1’s Foundation

The First Partner Illustration Collection - Series 1 was a standard boxed Pokémon TCG product built around illustration rare-style promo cards. Each box included 1 promo pack containing 3 of 9 promo cards, 2 additional booster packs, and 1 sticker sheet. Rather than focusing only on Kanto starters, Series 1 pulled its featured first partner Pokémon from Kanto, Sinnoh, and Alola.

That structure also makes Series 2 easier to explain accurately.
